"I believe that each artist has something to say and each work of art is something that has never existed before. As a landscape artist and traveler, my goal is to allow viewers to see places they have not visited; some could not be seen except by those who wander in the backcountry of America. I hope to convey the passion for the wilderness that I feel. While traveling, I have taken untold thousands of pictures and filled sketchbooks with images of state and national parks. Back in my studio I recall these beautiful images in acrylic, oil and watercolor. I hope those who see the paintings wish they could be in these lovely places."
